Exclusive: Samsung stops Galaxy S8 Android 8.0 release, new version being developed

Samsung started rolling out the much-awaited Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ last week. As promised, the update was first released to members of the beta program before it was rolled out to non-beta devices earlier this week.
